I am doing some serious composting this year, as we are bringing back the soil in our yard to prepare for next year's "food not lawn" endeavor. I have started the compost pile and have alot of browns in there and need to add some greens definitely. I am wondering if anyone can tell me how often to water and turn the compost pile and should I keep it covered with at tarp or just let it be?
