  Neem oil. It can be found in most gardening shops (some towns actually carry it in home depot sort of stores). I like our local feed and seed for this sort of stuff. This link was posted on Grow Organic and it looks really great:

  This should be helpful in dealing with all kinds of stuff! The neem oil is helpful but It works best if you remove as many bugs by hand as you can before spraying. I haven't tried row covers but I'm considering it for next summer.

    In the meantime, since I first posted...I found a recipe for an organic solution of garlic oil and castille soap. It worked great. Have not had a bug all summer.
    
    3 cloves of garlic, crushed
    1/4 cup olive oil
    soak the garlic in the oil for 24 hours and then mix with 2 TBSP castille soap. Add this to water in a garden sprayer and spray the plants well. Repeat after 2 weeks.

    Interesting...Neem is very up and coming in my area. I recently used it to get rid of impetigo that my little guy picked up at school. Washed the arm with witch hazel and tea tree soap and then applied Neem...it worked very well and it was gone within 48 hours.

  I know if you put bay leaves around bugs hate it. I heard peppermint oil as well. Like if you put a cottonball in it then put it around the plants

    Yes thanks.I use bay leaf int he house in all the cabinets...keeps all the bugs away. My Grand mother told me that a long time ago.
